The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Mods
I made many mods for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, including Ultra Conquest, Ultra Headless Horseman, Epiphora Buffer Frames, and Dogma Lasers. Most of these were published during June and July of 2022, 2023, and 2025.
- Created & implemented sprites and animations using Aseprite & Piskel, along with a custom-engine animation editor
- Published multiple mods with 5-star Steam ratings, with each having several thousand downloads and multiple hundreds of good reviews
- Developed, rescoped, and bugfixed mods via LUA scripting
- Rebalanced mods based on user feedback
Ultra Headless Horseman
Ultra Headless Horseman was the first original mod I’d made since Ultra Conquest, adding an extra phase to (or replacing an existing phase of) the final boss of the game, publishing it in May 2025. Ultra Headless Horseman had actually been requested for a while after Ultra Conquest, so I figured this would be a nice conclusion to my Isaac mods.
- Implemented & balanced 5 complex attack patterns & spawn logic via LUA scripting, as well as added compatability with other mods
- Created & implemented 50+ sprites via Piskel, Aseprite, and a custom-engine animator
- Modified after release based on user feedback

Ultra Conquest
Ultra Conquest the first of the two “big mods” I made (the other being Ultra Headless Horseman), releasing in Jul 2022. It originally added a chance to replace a phase of the final boss, but the ability to fight it in addition to the other phases was added later on.
- Implemented & balanced 3 complex attack patterns & spawn logic via LUA scripting, as well as added compatability with other mods
- Created & implemented 30+ sprites via Piskel and a custom-engine animator
- Modified after release based on user feedback
Hit List
Hit List is a mod that displays character unlockables in the character select menu, similar to the popular Visible Challenge Unlocks mod. Mods typically don’t interact with menus, just in-game content, so I had to get creative with how I implemented everything, releasing the mod in Oct 2021.
- Created & implemented 100 sprites via Piskel and a custom-engine animator
- Restructured menu UI using custom-engine animator to allow for layering of sprites that would otherwise not be possible

Dogma Costume
Dogma’s Truth
A lot of people requested a item-based version of the Dogma Lasers mod when it was first released, so this wasmy answer to that, released a few months later in Sep 2021.
- Created item ability logic & bugfixed the mod via LUA scripting
- Created custom chargebar UI
- Bugfixed mod to allow for multiplayer capability
- Edited existing sprites using Piskel & custom-engine animator
Parallel Cloth
Simple item mod, simple execution, released in Jul 2021.
- Created item ability logic & bugfixed the mod via LUA scripting
- Created item sprite using Piskel

Epiphora Buffer Frames
Epiphora Buffer Frames is a mod that makes exactly one item in the game slightly more usable, and it’s somehow my favorite mod.
- Piggybacked original Epiphora effect to introduce new mechanic using LUA scripting
- Bugfixed mod to allow for multiplayer capability
- Updated mod when TBOI: Repentance+ released, as that update changed the base-game effect of Epiphora
Dogma Lasers
The first mod I ever made for the game, released in Jun 2021. The original version, a simple resprite, somehow amassed 45,000+ downloads. Still not quite sure how that happened.
- Editing existing sprites & implemented ~30+ new sprites using custom-engine animator
- Scripted custom laser sprite logic using LUA
